The TDM group is taking over Comparex Deutschland GmbH, one of the largest IT system vendors in
the German market. Comparex specialises in technologies and solutions for computer centres and
employs approx. 300 IT specialists. The last annual turnover of the company was approx. EUR 200
million. It supplies many companies including IBM through its distribution network within Germany.
A team from CMS Hasche Sigle and CMS Derks Star Busman under the leadership of Cologne partner Dr
Herbert Wiehe provided all the advice in this transaction.
TDM is an IT infrastructure provider for the wealthy small and medium-sized enterprises and for
key account customers in Europe. The portfolio includes advice and services such as hosting,
managed services, support and services all with respect to computer centres. The entire turnover of
the TDM group has increased to more than EUR 500 million per year and in future the group will
employ approx. 800 staff. The reseller subsidiaries Becom and Inforsacom and the service subsidiary
In Demand already belong to the group in Germany.
