22 million. HBM BioVentures and HBM BioCapital were leading investors in this transaction; the
consortium included other present and also new investors such as Wellington Partners, Heidelberg
Innovation, Nexus Medical Partners and SwissFirst Bank.
mtm laboratories develops and manufactures in vitro diagnostics for early cervical-cancer
detection and screening purposes. For mtm laboratories this third investment round has ensured that
expansion of the development and marketing of its diagnostic products can continue.
