CMS Hasche Sigle advises HumanOptics AG on IPO.

14/07/2006

HumanOptics AG has successfully completed its IPO with assistance of VEM Aktienbank AG. Since 11 July 2006 the shares have been available for free trading on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange and are listed under the "Entry Standard" sector. Headed by partner Katja Pohl (corporate law) and Dr Andreas Zanner (capital markets) a team of lawyers composed of Dr Jochen N. Schlotter, Dr Rupert Doehner and Dr Martin Kniehase from the Frankfurt office of CMS Hasche Sigle advised HumanOptics AG on corporate and capital market law matters within the scope of the IPO. The prospectus was compiled by Rödl & Partner

The public flotation took the form of a "Xetra IPO" where the offer period starts with the opening of the quotation and ends with the complete placement of the shares offered. HumanOptics AG shares have been quoted since 11.07.2006 in the Entry Standard sector. On this date the offer period for a total of 800,000 shares derived fully from a capital increase began. The initial and closing prices were fixed at EUR 6.00. As the new issue was met with great interest on the part of institutional investors approximately one third of the shares was already placed successfully on the first trading day. HumanOptics AG, specialised in eye implantation surgery, develops, produces and sells intraocular lenses in particular and will use the funds raised by the capital increase to develop and launch new products and to organise and expand sales activities.
