Frankfurt/Main – Private equity investor ILP II/III has sold industrial valves manufacturer Z&J Technologies to global engineering group IMI plc. The deal was handled via its Luxembourg-based subsidiary, Valves Investment S.A. The enterprise value of Z&J Technologies used as the basis for the sale is EUR 135 million. ILP II/III was supported in Germany by its exclusive adviser J. Hirsch & Co. Deutschland GmbH during the transaction.
A team from CMS Hasche Sigle led by Dr Joachim Dietrich advised ILP II/III on the transaction.
Z&J Technologies manufactures high-quality valves for the iron and steel, glass, chemical and petrochemical industries. ILP II/III specialises in private equity investment in European companies with a regional focus on Italy and Germany. The transaction is currently awaiting approval from the cartel authorities.
