11/12/2009

Cologne – Insolvency administrator Nada Nasser of Kreplin & Partner has sold the operational business activities of the insolvent German companies in the KCH Group to a strategic investor.

Before selling the business, the restructuring team at Kreplin & Partner re-started the suspended operations and created new structures for the planned rescue by way of transfer of assets. CMS Hasche Sigle advised the restructuring team on the sale to the strategic investor. This acquisition by an investor demonstrates that with comprehensive advice and expertise a rescue from insolvency can succeed even in the current economic crisis.

The KCH Group has been specializing in industrial surface protection systems for 140 years. Its operations span the globe.
