CMS Hasche Sigle advises investor group on MAN Logistics management buy-out

30/05/2005

An investor group centred around Stefan Seidl has taken over MAN Logistics GmbH, Heilbronn, from MAN AG, Munich, by means of a management buy-out . The MAN group thereby continues its policy to part from fringe activities which do not belong to the core areas of commercial vehicles, industrial services, printing systems, diesel engines and turbomachines.

Seidl has been a member of the management team since 1997 and will now become managing shareholder of the successor company MLOG Logistics GmbH. The product range of the company includes automatic high bay warehouses, rack feeders, handling equipment and associated services. MLOG intends to further develop the successful core areas of new systems, service and modernisation of automatic high bay warehouses and to create a stronger position for itself in the profitable systems business market. MLOG is already active in the international arena as a general contractor in demanding projects such as the construction of refrigerated warehouses or warehouses for hazardous substances.

The Frankfurt partners Dr Oliver Wolfgramm and Dr Joachim Dietrich and associates Till Liebau, Markus Rasner and Anja Dombrowsky advised the client on behalf of CMS Hasche Sigle.
