CMS Hasche Sigle advises investor group on sale of dtms

14/06/2005

The Hamburg call-centre operator D+S europe AG will take over dtms, Deutsche Telefon- und Marketing Services AG, Mainz with effect from 1 July 2005. dtms is the largest independent provider of value-added services in Germany. During the transaction a Frankfurt team from CMS Hasche Sigle advised several investors who jointly held the majority of the capital in dtms and included the 3i group and the Dutch Strategic European Technologies N.V. domiciled in s’Hertogenbosch. Details of the purchase price were not disclosed.

dtms is active in the fast-growing market for telephone value added services such as service numbers, billing, claim and collection management and has more than 6000 business clients who are attended to by 130 employees. With over 2700 employees D+S europe is one of the largest German service providers for customer process management. The merger of the complementary business sectors of two companies means that both D+S and dtms have increased their value added options as service providers for business process management.

Partner Dr Christoph Schücking and associate Dr Hendrik Hirsch, of CMS Hasche Sigle, Frankfurt, advised on the transaction.
