Kinowelt GmbH has acquired all DVD and video rights of the film library and a large number of
cinema rights by way of licence agreement up to and including 2012 from the insolvency estate of
KirchMedia. The package includes approx. 5500 films and TV series including classics such as Sissi,
Feuerzangenbowle and Lili Marleen. Details of the purchase price were not disclosed. Kinowelt was
