Berlin – A real estate fund managed by a large Spanish bank and supported by various Spanish insurance companies has sold Kurt-Berndt-Höfe in Berlin’s Mitte district to a German institutional investor. Built in 1912, the building was faithfully restored after German reunification. The main tenants are H&M (COS) and the Goethe-Institut.
Dr Andreas Otto advised the Spanish vendor on all aspects of the transaction. CMS Hasche Sigle regularly advises the seller on property transactions and asset management and supported the seller during acquisition of the property in 2007.
Asset management in Germany is handled by Munich-based IC Immobilien-Gruppe.
