CMS Hasche Sigle advises Lielje Group on sale of Nordsee Reha-Klinik II in St. Peter-Ording

30/03/2011

Leipzig – The Lielje Group, an alliance of specialist clinics, has sold its Nordsee Reha-Klinik II rehab clinic in St. Peter-Ording to Berufsgenossenschaftlicher Verein für Heilbehandlung Hamburg e.V., an occupational health association providing curative treatment. The transaction is being conducted as an asset deal, with the association acquiring all the assets related to operation of the rehab clinic, except the clinic's premises. The latter are being acquired by a real estate investor, who is leasing them to the association. The transaction is expected to complete on 29 April 2011.

A team from CMS Hasche Sigle led by Rolf-Christian Stratz and Dr Jörg Lips advised the Lielje Group on all aspects of the transaction. Recently, CMS also acted on behalf of the Lielje Group in the sale of Nordsee Reha-Klinik I in August 2010 and with regard to a specialist clinic project in the federal state of Lower Saxony in May 2010.

Nordsee Reha-Klinik II in St. Peter-Ording will be renamed BG Nordsee Reha-Klinik. As a specialist clinic for rehabilitation and post-hospital curative treatment with some 130 full-time employees and 239 beds, its range of indications chiefly includes illnesses of the postural and locomotor system.
