CMS Hasche Sigle advises management of trans-o-flex on management buy-out

The Berlin-based Odewald & Compagnie Gesellschaft für Beteiligung mbH has acquired all of the shares in Weinheimer trans-o-flex Schnell-Lieferdienst GmbH from the former shareholders, Deutsche Post AG (24.8 %) and BayernFinanz Gesellschaft für Finanzmanagement und Beteiligungen mbH (75.2 %). The former and future management of trans-o-flex have participations in the purchasing company. Stuttgart partners Dr Rolf Schmidt-Diemitz, Dr Peter Baisch (both corporate) and Dr Achim Lindemann (employment) advised the management on the management buy-out. The purchase price of the transaction, which is still subject to clearance from the cartel authority, was not disclosed.

trans-o-flex is one of Europe's leading combi freight providers. In 2004 the company generated a turnover of 430.8 million euros.
