Baden-Württemberg plant construction company Müller Weingarten AG domiciled in Weingarten has
acquired Bliss Clearing Niagara Inc. in Hastings, Michigan, USA. Dr Anton Maurer, partner with CMS
Hasche Sigle in Stuttgart assisted the subsidiaries Müller Weingarten Technologie GmbH & Co. KG
and BCN Technical Services, Inc. during the negotiations. This transaction provides Müller
Weingarten with technological know-how, in particular all rights to drawings, of several former US
press manufacturers.
Müller Weingarten has also assumed the machines, stocks, inventory and factory site of the
newly formed subsidiary BCN Technical Services, Inc. domiciled in Madison Heights. The purchase
price was not disclosed.
Müller Weingarten develops and sells mechanical plant, presses and tooling throughout the
world principally for the automotive industry and latterly has achieved an annual turnover of
nearly 400 million Euros with a workforce of more than 2000 employees.
