The PCC-Group of Duisburg has sold most of its logistics division to Deutsche Bahn AG.
An international team of the CMS Alliance with lawyers from CMS Hasche Sigle and CMS Cameron
McKenna led by Dr Dirk Jannott provided comprehensive, cross-border advice to the PCC-Group for
this transaction.
Since entering the Polish logistics market in the year 2000, the PCC Group has become the
largest private rail transportation company in Poland. With approx. 5,800 employees, 400
locomotives, 7,700 wagons, EUR 350 million turnover in 2008 and a market share of about 8 percent,
the logistics division is the largest private railway company in Poland.
Details of the purchase price were not disclosed.
