CMS Hasche Sigle advises PUK-WERKE KG on investment in Indian joint venture

Berlin – PUK-WERKE KG Kunststoff-Stahlverarbeitung GmbH & Co has acquired a majority stake in Indian company Profab Engineers Private Limited, Mumbai. This investment enables it to tap into the Indian market for cable trays and accessories. The purchase price was not disclosed.

Dr Eva Annett Grigoleit and Dr Igor Stenzel advised PUK-WERKE KG on all aspects of the cross-border transaction, backed by an international team of lawyers.

Profab is a family-owned company that is well-established in the Indian market, boasting more than 25 years' experience in the manufacture and sale of cable management systems. PUK is a leading manufacturer of such products in Germany. It also has a presence in many other European countries, including Russia and Turkiye, with its own plants, sales companies and distribution partners.
