CMS Hasche Sigle advises RT / Raiffeisenbank Touristik Group on increasing its stake in teNeues Digital Media GmbH

29/10/2014

Berlin – RT / Raiffeisen Bank Touristik Group GmbH is increasing its stake in teNeues Digital Media GmbH from 26% to 40%. The increase is related to Swiss firm Media Tune Holding AG, the parent company of Apa Publishing Group Ltd., UK, becoming the new main shareholder in teNeues Digital Media GmbH.

A Berlin-based team led by Dr Eva Annett Grigoleit and Dr Igor Stenzel advised RT / Raiffeisenbank Touristik Group GmbH on the legal aspects of the transaction.

As a new media firm, teNeues Digital Media is best known for its innovative "Cool Cities" travel guides, which are published both as apps for smartphones and tablets and in print form. This increase in its investment in teNeues Digital Media enables RT / Raiffeisen Touristik Group to expand its position in new media and the Internet together with its new partner, the Apa Publishing Group. In recent years, RT has developed into a leading tourism group in Germany.
