Berlin – Oppenheim Immobilienfonds Essen GmbH & Co. KG has acquired the Rüttenscheider Tor office building in Essen from HOCHTIEF Projektentwicklung GmbH.
A team from CMS Hasche Sigle led by lead partner Dr Hermann Stapenhorst advised Sal. Oppenheim on all aspects of the transaction, with regard to both the property purchase agreement and the loan agreement.
Rüttenscheider Tor offers more than 10,000 square metres of rental space spread over six floors and two basement levels, the bulk of which has already been let. Construction of the office block began in October 2008. The building has been designed with low environmental impact in mind and will be pre-certified "Silver" by the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) at this year's Expo Real property show in Munich.
