Finanzvertrieb OVB Holding AG with its domicile in Cologne has concluded its IPO on the Frankfurt
Stock Exchange. Led by Frankfurt partner Dr Andreas Zanner a team from CMS Hasche Sigle advised
Bankhaus Sal. Oppenheim jr. & Cie. KGaA acting as lead manager and bookrunner as well as the
co-lead manager HSBC Trinkhaus & Burkhardt which completed the bank consortium. More than 2.8
million shares were placed. The bank consortium was granted a greenshoe option. OVB received over
EUR 50 million through the shares listed on the Prime Standard. Finally OVB achieved a turnover of
EUR 85.9 million in Germany alone. Even after the IPO the insurer Deutscher Ring remains the
majority shareholder of OVB with approx. 50.1% of the shares.
