CMS Hasche Sigle advises shareholders of Nero AG on the sale of a minority shareholding

The shareholders of Nero AG have sold a minority holding of approx. 26% to a fund advised by Alpha and HarbourVest. Under the leadership of the Frankfurt partner Dr Andreas Zanner, a team from CMS Hasche Sigle advised the shareholders of Nero AG on the transaction, which is still subject to the consent of the cartel authorities. Nero AG is one of the leading providers of digital media technology, a member of the MPEG-4 Industry Forum and manufacturer of Nero 7, the leading worldwide CD/DVD application software, which has become one of the most comprehensive complete multimedia solutions.
