CMS Hasche Sigle advises “Stiftung museum kunst palast” on implementing PPP operational management model

04/10/2010

Cologne – Stiftung museum kunst palast, a foundation based in Düsseldorf, and the Dussmann Group have established Ehrenhof Service-Gesellschaft as a public private partnership (PPP). The new joint venture will organise and deliver operational services for the foundation's museum based on an operational management model, primarily covering security, cleaning and visitor services. The company is expected to employ up to 100 people in the medium term.

A team from CMS Hasche Sigle led by Dr Katharina Bertram and Dr Stefan el-Barudi advised Stiftung museum kunst palast on all aspects of structuring and realising its new operational management model as well as implementing the tender procedure throughout Europe.

Stiftung museum kunst palast is itself a PPP between the City of Düsseldorf, E.ON AG and the METRO Group. It houses one of the most important art museums in the Rhineland in the Ehrenhof complex in Düsseldorf. The collection comprises paintings, graphics, sculptures and decorative arts from the Middle Ages to the present day.

The Dussmann Group is a leading provider of services around building management, with 54,000 employees in 24 countries. Key areas of its activities include operational management models and service companies in partnership with the contracting bodies.
