CMS Hasche Sigle advises SÜSS MicroTec on acquisition of HamaTech

Frankfurt/Main – SÜSS MicroTec AG is aiming to acquire 100% of the shares in HamaTech APE from Singulus Technologies AG. HamaTech APE supplies equipment for cleaning photomasks in the semiconductor industry. The proposed acquisition includes purchasing the premises at the Sternenfels site, plus acquiring HamaTech APE’s international operations.

A team from CMS Hasche Sigle led by lead partner Katja Pohl provided SÜSS MicroTec with legal advice on all aspects of the transaction.

Listed company SÜSS MicroTec AG is a world-leading special equipment manufacturer for the chip and micro-system engineering industry and is headquartered in Garching, Germany. The acquisition expands SÜSS's coater/developer product portfolio. The company intends to turn the Sternenfels site into a competence centre for wet processing.
