Düsseldorf – ThyssenKrupp has sold the construction components business of ThyssenKrupp Steel Europe AG. The buyer is strategic Irish investor Kingspan Group, which has signed an agreement with ThyssenKrupp to acquire its Construction Group. The deal is currently awaiting approval from the supervisory bodies and the competition authorities.
An international CMS team led by lead partner Dr Jürgen Frodermann advised ThyssenKrupp on all aspects of the transaction. The CMS experts worked closely with the inhouse team at ThyssenKrupp headed by Dr Christian von Halen, which also structured the prepared carve-out within the group.
