TMD Friction, a leading worldwide manufacturer of brake pads for passenger cars and commercial
vehicles with its domicile in Leverkusen, has concluded an agreement relating to IT-outsourcing and
IT-support with Siemens-Gesellschaft Services for Business IT Ruhr (SBI Ruhr). On 1 April 2006 SBI
Ruhr will then assume the support of the entire IT-infrastructure, including applications support
for TMD-Friction from its parent company Siemens Business Services (SBS). The agreement covers
inter alia the operation of computer centres, networks, end appliances and the support of IT
required for production control.
