walter services ComCare GmbH & Co. KG has acquired from Vivento Customer Services GmbH (VCS), a
job creation company belonging to Telekom, two call centres in Cottbus and Suhl. The transaction is
subject to approval by the Federal Cartel Office. On completion of the deal walter services will
take over approx. 480 employees from VCS.
As early as October 2006 walter services had purchased five call centres in Aachen, Dresden,
Halle, Lübeck and Magdeburg from VCS and in so doing took over a total of 700 staff
Walter services group has already been advised by CMS Hasche Sigle on earlier transactions;
for example, CMS Hasche Sigle also advised the walter services group on the previous acquisition of
the five call centres from Vivento in 2006 and on the acquisition of service centres from the
pay-TV broadcasting station Premiere in 2005. CMS Hasche Sigle has also been providing the Swiss
Beisheim group with legal advice for many years. The last occasion was the sale of walter services
group to the Dutch investor Gilde.
