CMS Hasche Sigle advises WIRSOL on solar parks in Schleswig-Holstein

24/05/2013

Hamburg – WIRSOL SOLAR AG has completed two solar parks near Flensburg together with Berlin-based Management Capital Group (MCG) and sold them to the Enovos Group from Saarbrücken. In addition to a facility in Handewitt with a rated output of around 4 MW, the transaction also included the photovoltaic power plant at Barderup. Some 80,000 installed modules on a 35 hectare site and peak power of almost 19 MW make Barderup one of the biggest plants of its kind in Schleswig-Holstein.

CMS Hasche Sigle advised WIRSOL on all legal aspects of the sale via a team led by lead partner Dr Niklas Ganssauge. CMS Hasche Sigle has advised WIRSOL on a number of successful projects in recent years.

WIRSOL has been involved in planning, financing, installing and maintaining photovoltaic power plants for private households, industrial customers and investors since 2003. Around 300 employees worldwide generated consolidated sales of EUR 292 million in 2012. Enovos Deutschland is an energy provider for industrial companies and public-sector utilities. It works closely with experienced project developers and plant manufacturers to develop renewable energy.
