CMS Hasche Sigle 's corporate practice continues to grow. Dr Thomas Heidemann moves from
Beiten Burkhardt to CMS Hasche Sigle as equity partner at the beginning of January 2008. With the
eminent lateral entry of Dr Heidemann CMS Hasche Sigle will continue to expand in the area of
transaction advice in Eastern Europe.
Since 1996 Dr Thomas Heidemann has concentrated on giving advice on the Russian market and is
regarded as a high-profile expert on German/Russian commercial law. He has led the Russian
Federation department (Russia and the Ukraine) at Beiten Burkhardt Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft since
2002. His particular areas of focus include advice on M&A transactions and liaison and support
to banks and financial services providers in Russia and the Ukraine.
In future Dr Thomas Heidemann will operate at the interface between the Russian and German
offices of CMS Hasche Sigle and therefore work both in Duesseldorf and Moscow.
Raiffeisen International, Volkswagen und Bosch Siemens Hausgeräte are among the clients
represented by him.
