CMS Hasche Sigle partner heads Consumer Products Sector Group of European CMS organisation

Brussels – Dr Michael Bauer is the new head of the CMS Consumer Products Sector Group. He takes over from Richard Montijn of Dutch CMS firm CMS Derks Star Busmann, who has chaired the group since 2005.

Dr Michael Bauer heads the CMS EU Law Office in Brussels. Born in 1964 in Stuttgart, he studied law in Tübingen and Bonn. He has been a partner at CMS Hasche Sigle since 2001 and advises companies on all relevant antitrust law matters. His clients include many members of Germany’s

Markenverband (Brands Association), as well as the Association itself.

The CMS Consumer Products Sector Group brings together the expertise of more than 100 CMS lawyers throughout Europe, covering all aspects of consumer product law, particularly antitrust law, trademarks and marketing, product liability and product law, distribution and competition law.
