CMS Prize 2011 jointly awarded by CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre and CMS Hasche Sigle

22/11/2012

Berlin – CMS Hasche Sigle and CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre have awarded the CMS Prize for 2011. In November 2012, Annika Jo Heinrich won the award for her dissertation entitled “Cross-border dividends of corporate enterprises: a comparison of the French and German taxation systems with special regard to EU law”.

Annika holds a Maîtrise de Droit degree from the University of Paris XII, having specialised in French and international business law, and a Magister iuris degree in German and foreign law from the University of Mainz, Germany.

The Franco-German CMS Prize was jointly created by CMS Hasche Sigle and CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre in 2005 and is awarded to a post-graduate student, a doctoral student or a business school student for a dissertation or a work placement report on a legal or taxation topic with a cross-border French and German dimension. The award was instigated by the Group France-Allemagne, which brings together the CMS organisation's legal and taxation expertise for Franco-German matters.
The prize is jointly organised by François Hellio, partner at CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre, and Dr Gerd Leutner, partner at CMS Hasche Sigle. The prize was presented at the 2012 Franco-German conference on “Social Competitivity”, held at the Goethe Institute in Paris.
