Berlin – CMS Hasche Sigle received the "Law Firm of the Year 2010" award at the Private Equity Awards presented recently by highly-regarded magazine Deutsche unquote” in Munich.
Explaining its choice of winner, the jury said that CMS Hasche Sigle had "played a major role in an extremely difficult market environment. As well as being one of the most active law firms for transactions between July 2009 and June 2010, it continued to be highly recommended by market players. The unquote” jury singled out Dr. Martin Bell, partner at CMS Hasche Sigle and co-head of the Private Equity practice group, for special praise as "an outstanding lawyer who has made a major contribution to the firm’s transaction success."
A delighted Cornelius Brandi, managing partner of CMS Hasche Sigle, said: "This is a wonderful achievement for the whole firm and comes as no surprise to us.
