Hartmut Papenthin moves to CMS Hasche Sigle

Hartmut Papenthin is joining the management team at CMS Hasche Sigle, one of Germany’s leading corporate law firms, which has a headcount of around 600 legal professionals. The appointment is a response to growing management needs. Papenthin will join the firm at the beginning of May. In his new role he will handle the day-to-day administrative work of the firm jointly with Managing Partner Cornelius Brandi, taking specific responsibility for the firm's administration function and finances. He is moving to Berlin and CMS Hasche Sigle from his current post as commercial director at Boston Consulting Group GmbH (BCG).

Hartmut Papenthin is already well acquainted with the firm. From 2000 to 2007, he was head of accounting and controlling at CMS Hasche Sigle before moving to BCG in Düsseldorf. Cornelius Brandi commented: "We are delighted to be strengthening our team. Hartmut Papenthin's broad wealth of experience and management skills will benefit the partnership greatly." A business graduate and qualified tax advisor, Papenthin is a respected expert on financial and tax matters. He is married with two children.
