Berlin – Commercial law firm CMS Hasche Sigle today announced its decision to rename its Real Estate & Construction practice. The new name, Real Estate & Public, applies with immediate effect. Management of the law firm and of the practice intend the associated restructuring to create a higher internal and external profile that reflects the competitive demands of a constantly changing market environment.
This realignment of the Real Estate & Construction practice, the largest grouping of its kind in Germany, was preceded by careful strategic analysis. Core considerations were to maintain the highest levels of advice and support for clients and to optimise the infrastructure, but the partners also had the additional objective of creating an attractive environment for recruiting junior lawyers while also offering maximum opportunities for the ambitious and successful associates and partners in the practice.
By focusing on key strategic topics such as quality management, training and development structures, knowledge management, business development and internal networking at CMS level, the firm is further enhancing its strong professional positioning as a source of high-end advice.
Going forward, the Real Estate & Public practice will comprise three areas, Public, Projects, and RealInvest, each managed by a dedicated section coordinator. Overall coordination of the practice area remains the responsibility of experienced real estate lawyer Dr Andreas Otto, together with a core team of seven colleagues.
