Top employer for lawyers: CMS Hasche Sigle regains first place in azur award

Hamburg – The editorial board of azur, the career magazine published by JUVE, has recognised CMS Hasche Sigle as the top employer for lawyers in 2014. CMS Hasche Sigle received the azur award for first place in the "azur 100" list of most popular employers on Thursday evening. This is the second time the firm has won the prize, following its 2012 success. The magazine's editorial board created the ranking from the results of a large-scale survey of job applicants and associates, combined with hard facts about new appointments and salaries.

They particularly appreciate working closely with clients on interesting and challenging projects at an early stage in their careers. The award demonstrates very clearly that our career model ticks all the right boxes by offering junior lawyers promotion opportunities within our firm that are now trendsetting."

The azur jury especially highlighted the fact that CMS took top spot this time with a large lead over the second and third-placed firms, following a one-year break. CMS scored particularly well among job applicants, who rated it as the favourite law firm in azur's applicant survey. The jury stated that an especially large number of budding lawyers had chosen CMS as their preferred employer. Trainee lawyers praised above all the excellent preparation for exams through the Kaiser seminars, while the survey also indicated that the firm’s associates had given their employer good marks.
