Triple award – JUVE votes CMS Hasche Sigle law firm of the year in M&A, media law and distribution systems

03/11/2006

At the announcement of the JUVE Awards (www.juve.de) in Frankfurt on 2 November 2006 CMS Hasche Sigle carried off three awards. The awards went to the M&A, media and distribution systems teams. The JUVE Awards honour leading commercial law firms in Germany.
The jury considered that CMS Hasche Sigle ranked among the top M&A advisors and that it competes with other leading law firms. It singled out the M&A team for its strong partners and excellence in deal management. There was also praise for the media law teams, which the jury described as being at the cutting edge of new media developments.
Cornelius Brandi, managing partner of CMS Hasche Sigle said: "The awards do not just confirm the strength and quality of our teams in the various areas of practice, they also reflect our position as one of the top-ranking full-service commercial law specialists. I am especially pleased for our M&A team, whose performance over the past few years has been outstanding. The M&A award shows that we are on the right track and is an incentive to continue to improve."
CMS Hasche Sigle is thus building on its successes of recent years. It has received a total of eleven JUVE distinctions, including "Law Firm of the Year for Advancement of Young Lawyers" and "Employment" in 2005, for "Energy Management", "Employment" and "Dispute Resolution" in 2003 and "Private Equity", "Telecommunications" and "Best Management Team" in 2002.
