Fernando Pérez Lozada acts as party representative and assistant to the tribunal in investor-state and commercial arbitration proceedings. His practice focusses on real estate, power generation, automotive and corporate matters, as well as on investment treaty protection and enforcement of arbitral awards. Fernando has represented investors and/or states from North and Latin America, Europe, Africa and Asia, under ICSID, UNCITRAL and NAFTA rules. He has acted in commercial arbitrations under ICC, LCIA and DIAC rules, as well as in sport arbitration under CAS proceedings.

Fernando joined CMS in 2021. He previously worked as an international associate in other globally operating firms in London and Paris and as a legal advisor to the Mexican government.
