Expert litigator Gerd Schoenen specialises in patent and utility infringement as well as nullity proceedings. He also advises companies on the patent law aspects of transactions or insolvencies and has special life sciences, automotive/automotive suppliers and consumer goods sector expertise.

Gerd started his legal career in 1996 and joined CMS in 2005 as a partner. Alongside his legal practice, he is a lecturer in intellectual property and copyright law at FOM University of Applied Sciences in Cologne.
