Jörg Baumgartner specialises in advising German and international issuers, existing shareholders, listed companies as well as underwriting banks on all capital market and corporate law aspects of equity and debt capital market transactions. He focuses on IPOs, capital increases, secondary offerings as well as on scrip dividends, bonds and structured products. Jörg also provides ongoing advice on post-listing obligations, such as ad-hoc and other reporting obligations or insider law, and covers capital market compliance, corporate governance and general stock exchange rules and regulations.

Jörg joined CMS in 2010 and has been a counsel since 2017. In 2015/2016, he was seconded to a major Swiss bank where he worked on equity capital market transactions in the bank’s investment banking division.
