Klaus Ikas has more than 20 years of experience as an intellectual property and unfair competition lawyer. His practice focuses on the registration, defence and enforcement as well as the transfer and licensing of intellectual property rights, and he also reviews intellectual property rights in the context of transactions. He often advises German and international medium-sized as well as large companies on protecting their know-how, on research and development projects as well as on all legal aspects of marketing and advertising. Klaus has special expertise in the machine building, automotive, media and energy sectors, and he is furthermore very experienced working with trade companies as well as manufacturers and service providers across different industries.
Klaus joined Sigle Loose Schmidt-Diemitz, now CMS, in 1993 and was made partner in 1999.
