Petra Goldenbaum is an experienced trademark lawyer and litigator who advises her clients on trademark strategies and all aspects of trademark law, with a focus on trademark prosecution. This includes trademark applications, opposition and appeal proceedings and cease and desist letters as well as the drafting and review of, trademark licence and transfer agreements, demarcation agreements and other trademark contracts. Petra regularly represents her clients in proceedings before the German Patent and Trade Mark Office, the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), the Federal Patent Court, the General Court and the Court of Justice of the European Union as well as before the civil courts.

After six years as an inhouse lawyer, Petra joined CMS in 1999 and has been a counsel since 2012.
