Thomas Manderla represents medium-sized companies and groups in and out of court on intellectual property law, with a particular focus on trademark, design and competition law. He also drafts licensing, development and distribution agreements and negotiates them on behalf of his clients. His practice furthermore includes advising on legal issues relating to advertising and marketing. Thomas has special food, fashion, cosmetics, retail, automotive and IT sector expertise.

He joined one of the firms that later merged to CMS in 1990 and became a partner in 1993. He has authored numerous articles on trademark and competition as well as distribution law and is published by C.H. Beck, Germany’s leading legal publishing house.
