Employment law in brief: Regulatory reform of temporary employment sector – second bill completed, but put on hold

After severe criticism from all sides (regardless of political persuasion), a revised version of the Bill for the Regulation of Temporary Employment was presented a few days ago by the German Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs.

In the attached newsletter we provide information on possible changes in legislation and related effects. However, the Christian Union party (CDU and CSU) is also blocking this revised bill. At this stage it is too early to predict how this political dispute will affect the bill.
