CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre on the creation, financing and inclusion of Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations in the capital of the Alto holding company

CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre advised the Altitude Infrastructure group in connection with the creation and financing of the Alto holding company, as well as the inclusion of Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations (CDC) in its capital, Alto having merged its shareholdings in six concession companies for high-speed broadband public initiative networks.

The purpose of these concession companies is to accelerate the roll-out of high-speed broadband to the regions involved, with a target of more than 600,000 households and businesses using fibre optic networks by 2030. This project mobilises a financing need of EUR 110 million.

Altitude Infrastructure was advised by CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre, with Arnaud Hugot, Partner (Corporate), Célia Mayran, Associate (Corporate), François Tenailleau, Partner (Business law), Benjamin Guilleminot, Counsel (Banking & Finance), Sadri Desenne-Djoudi, Associate (Banking & Finance), as well as by Gowling WLG, with Emmanuel Paillard, Partner and Julie Vuagnoux, Of Counsel (Business law and industrial agreements).

Latournerie Wolfrom Avocats advised the lenders, Société Générale, AUXIFIP and Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management (via its BRIDGE platform), on setting up the financing with a team led by Eric Charvillat, Partner, with Pascale Thollard (Banking & Finance) and Terence Cabot, Partner (Business law and communications law).

Orrick advised the CDC in relation to acquiring an interest in Alto with Saam Golshani, Partner, Alexis Hojabr and Grégoire Jouffroy, Associates (Corporate).
