Nicolas de Sevein joined CMS Francis Lefebvre Avocats in 1983, and became a partner in 1989. A member of the firm’s Advisory Board since July 2012, he was elected Vice-Chairman in June 2015. He manages a large team of 15 lawyers, who provide advice and handle disputes in collective and individual labour relations and on the employment implications of strategic decisions.
Nicolas has developed a particular expertise in the implementation of restructuring and outsourcing projects. He provides advice on collective and individual labour relations and on the employment implications of strategic decisions, most notably in the following areas: negotiated departures and settlements, employees’ profit-sharing and incentive compensation plans, collective bargaining and employee representation, restructuring and mass redundancies, collective and individual disputes, harmonisation of human resources policies, pension plans and other employee benefits, managing international mobility, and equal treatment, discrimination and harassment issues.
His major clients include international groups in the pharmaceutical, information technology, food and luxury goods sectors.
