Virginie Coursière-Pluntz is a lawyer in the Competition and European Law Department. She is mainly involved in competition law (antitrust, merger control, abusive practices in commercial relationships), more specifically in transactional and/or international cases that require both technical and project management expertise. An expert in public law, she works on the competitive impact of the activities of public bodies. Her work covers consulting, litigation (before French or European competition authorities or commercial courts), the auditing of organisations’ operations (groups/professional associations) from the point of view of competition law or the implementation and monitoring of compliance programmes. Virginie has developed specific expertise in advice and implementation of competition law in French-speaking and English-speaking Africa, in support of the firm’s African team. She advises or represents businesses or corporate groups in the consumer goods, energy, insurance and pharmaceutical sectors.
