CMS Francis Lefebvre Avocats launches iiara
First platform to help notaries audit and draft legal documents
CMS Francis Lefebvre Avocats has launched “iiara”, an intuitive interface for auditing and drafting legal documents, designed for notaries.
The initial version of this service interface is dedicated to drafting tax clauses relating to VAT and transfer duties in real-estate transfer documents. The digital platform, which is simple and intuitive to use, enables notaries to draw upon the expertise CMS Francis Lefebvre Avocats lawyers for all of their legal documents and thereby guaranteeing the relevance and reliability of all tax clauses.
The powerful algorithm around which iiara is built allows specialist real-estate tax lawyers at CMS Francis Lefebvre Avocats to manage a very high volume of real-estate transactions and to promptly suggest the appropriate tax clause for every transaction to notaries, for a reduced one-off fee.
With iiara CMS Francis Lefebvre Avocats offers the notaires to add a specific tax expertise to their own.
This platform is part of CMS Francis Lefebvre Avocats’ innovative diversification strategy.
It is the first software service in a series of high-value-added applications that CMS lawyers are developping, in the entrepreneurial spirit that has characterised the firm since its founding over 90 years ago.
The iiara platform has been developed through the talents of lawyers at CMS Francis Lefebvre Avocats, who seek the best from new technologies in order to offer their expertise to clients via simple, practical and intuitive tools. This approach aims to focus on high-value-added work.
Clients’ expectations are at the heart of this innovation for CMS Francis Lefebvre Avocats. The iiara platform was therefore designed, tested and improved in close collaboration with the firm’s clients, particularly the Cheuvreux practice. The launch is only a start and the platform is designed to evolve over time and to adapt continually to its users’ developping expectations.
“We are very proud to launch this initial platform that shows the firm’s constant dynamism and the innovative spirit that's in the DNA of CMS Francis Lefebvre Avocats,” said Elisabeth Ashworth, Gaëtan Berger-Picq and Patrick Danis, lawyers who were involved in the start of the project at the firm. “Our teams have shown initiative, talent and the ability to adapt to new technologies, particularly for modelling the service software.”
