ESG investor attitudes to ESG data and what they mean for businesses

Past event
23 May 2023, 11:00 - 12:00 UTC +00:00

Over the last few years, we have seen a raft of new requirements on businesses of all types to collect data on their environmental, social and governance activities. ESG disclosures are a huge challenge for many of the businesses we work with and so CMS has sponsored a study by the Quoted Company Alliance on this topic.

The study has investigated what institutional investors expect from companies when it comes to ESG reporting, how ESG impacts their investment decisions and what the future may hold. The results have shed some light on what is expected from organisations and how these needs can best be met. Interestingly, for example, many of the respondents believe that smaller quoted companies are missing out on ESG-related investment because they don’t have the resources to report properly.

We will share the results, and what they mean, via a webinar on Tuesday 23 May at 11.00 – 12.00. Please register below and you will receive an email confirmation with joining details.
