This session will focus on key considerations for online platforms and those companies distributing their content online (or those keen to protect the distribution of their content). Regulators in the UK, Europe and internationally are taking a hard look at the way in which online platforms operate as well as how well consumers are protected in the digital world.
Our programme will include:
- An overview of the current UK regulatory framework for online platforms and some of the changes that we are seeing coming.
- Advertising on online platforms, another area that has received significant regulatory attention.
- Protecting your content online.
- Consumer protection and online harms.
