Risk Essentials: Commercial Contracts and AI: Grasping the Opportunities...
In this session, we will explore how recent developments in Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI are likely to affect commercial contract lawyers.  AI has the potential to help commercial contract lawyers become more efficient and cost-effective, but the question remains whether some of this technology may replace (or change) the need for qualified lawyers. Headlining our session will be a talk from leading technologist Professor Daniel Katz looking into how legal technology is likely to change the way lawyers draft, negotiate and review commercial contracts.  We will then ask a panel of legal and innovation experts from CMS to discuss how they see AI affecting their practice areas, including how they interact with clients.
