CMS advises leading Internet-of-Things provider Arkessa in deal with ECI Partners

International law firm CMS has advised on the management buyout of Arkessa, the leading Internet-of-Things (“IoT”) managed services provider, to private equity firm ECI Partners. Arkessa enables enterprises to develop and optimise their businesses by helping them adopt, integrate and scale IoT enabled services.

Arkessa was founded in Cambridge in 2009, with the vision to ‘future proof’ customers’ connections to the IoT. Since pioneering the orchestration of multiple mobile networks and technologies into a single managed service, Arkessa now sells software and services to IoT solution providers around the world.

The CMS core team was led by corporate partner Anthony Waller, with assistance from Angela Clump, Mumuksha Singh, Paul Cole (Corporate), Andrew Quayle, Jasleen Kaur (Share Schemes), Mark Joscelyne, Robert Sartor (Tax), Gary Henderson, Sam Love, Matthew Davis (Employment), Joel Vertes, Fionnuala Rice (Intellectual Property), and George Mole (TMT).
