CMS IP team growth picks up pace with Of Counsel appointment

International law firm CMS is pleased to announce the appointment of Paolo Andreottola to the firm’s IP practice in London. Paolo’s appointment builds on the team’s recent expansion and follows the arrival of IP disputes specialist Ben Hitchens in September.

Paolo has broad expertise across various aspects of IP law and specialises in brand protection and trademark enforcement, including brand clearance, trademark filing, trademark disputes and settlement agreements. He has particular experience in opposition proceedings before the European Union and UK trademark registries as well as in the prosecution of trademark portfolios worldwide. Paolo joins the firm from Locke Lord, where he was a Senior Counsel.
