1 June 2023

International law firm CMS is pleased to announce that Joy Davey has joined the Financial Services Regulatory Team as a partner.  She will work alongside Partners Ash Saluja, Angela Greenough and the wider team and be based in London.

Joy's practice focuses on regulated outsourcings by financial institutions and the operational aspects of financial services regulation, combining both commercial and regulatory expertise when helping clients.

Joy has also co-founded Women Who Work, a non-profit organisation focusing on supporting and encouraging women in professional services in their return to work after maternity leave. Their aims include improving gender diversity in the workplace, particularly at senior levels.

Ash Saluja, Head of Financial Services & Products at CMS said: “I am delighted to welcome Joy to the team. Her experience and expertise strengths our regulatory offering to clients. Joy’s experience in particular on transformational outsourcing projects for financial institutions, will strengthen our ability to support our financial services clients, and will also help to support the continued development of the team and particularly Angela Greenough's existing multi-disciplinary regulated outsourcing practice.”

Joy added: “I am delighted to join Ash, Angela and the established Financial Services Regulatory Team. I am excited to help grow the existing regulated outsourcing offering at CMS as we continue to be aligned with clients’ ever-increasing focus on regulatory and operational risk.”

Joy joins from Macfarlanes.
