CMS strengthens Middle East construction and engineering offering

13/10/2014

CMS in Dubai has appointed Jeremie Witt as a Legal Director and Natalie Hall as a lawyer to add further resources to our growing Dubai office. Both lawyers specialise in the construction and engineering sectors. CMS has seen a growing demand for its services in this sector since the Dubai office launched, especially in the developing markets such as Iraq.

Jeremie, who is dual-qualified in Australia and England & Wales, will be joining from Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Dubai. He advises on both non-contentious and contentious construction matters and will bring many years’ experience to the role. Natalie spent time working with the construction team in London before relocating to Dubai.

Matthew Culver, Managing Partner of CMS in Dubai, comments: “These appointments will bolster our offering in Dubai and allow us to maximise opportunities across the booming construction sector all over the region.”

Adrian Bell, partner in the Construction Disputes team at CMS in London, adds: “We are committed to targeted expansion and leveraging the opportunities within our extensive network of clients and contacts in the region. Having lawyers on the ground in Dubai, to work with us in London, will allow us to better service our clients’ needs as they grow their operations internationally in this exciting region.”
